Station 4 is located on Newtown Pike. It houses Engine 4 and Backup Rescue 1. Station 4 was just rebuilt in 2006.
Station 5 is located on Homestead Drive, just off of W 460. It houses Engine 5 and Engine 11. Station 5 covers the largest district in Scott County, which includes the town of Stamping Ground. They also help protect Interstate 64. Station 5 was renovated in 2005.
Station 1 is located at 2200 Cincinatti Pike. Ladder 1, Rescue 1, Engine 8, 1400, 1402,1403, and Rescue 2 is housed here. The training division operates out of station 1 as well as the administration staff. Station 1 along with Station 4 and Station 2 cover all of I-75 in Scott County, which ususally keeps the stations busy with accidents and tractor trailer fires.
This station also serves as our training center for our department as well as other departments across the state. Each year, the Central Kentucky Fire Association holds their annual fire school here at the training facilities.
Station 2 is our newest station to open in February 2008. Currently, this station houses Fire and EMS crews. Station 2 primarily covers northern Scott County,including the town of Sadieville KY. and a major portion of I-75 North and South bound lanes. To learn more about Sadieville, please click this link.
